Essaouira is

The city of Wind
Essaouira is called "the city
ofwind". Cherki, the trade wind of the North-East, blows from
March to November with an average of force 4. The constancy of the
wind makes of Essaouira the paradise of the surfers. Theregion
offersgreat spots with beautiful waves to surf. From 1 to 2
meters from March to November by excluding July and August when the
swell is weaker.
A rather fresh
water
The beaches are generally not supervised. Be careful especially with the movements and currents. Water is often cold and seldom exceeds 20C. Look after your children and do not swim too much far from the edge of beach.
